Verify License Status

License status verification requests can be completed online by visiting this link. You will be provided search credits upon purchase, which must be used to search online for the licensee for which status verification is requested.  

ONLINE VERIFICATION: An official statement as to the status of an individual licensee may be viewed, copied or downloaded. This represents an official statement from LSBOE and meets all requirements for primary source verification. The license status as shown on the LSBOE website verification page reflects the official and current status of the license for all licensees.  Fee is $30.00.
* If you have more than one license you need verified, a $30 fee is required for EACH license.

DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS:If a licensee has ever been the subject of disciplinary action by the Board, the current status will be noted on the verification page. 

WRITTEN VERIFICATION: A copy containing the same information shown on the online verification may be obtained by submitting a written request to the LSBOE via email at lsboe@yahoo.com. Once the request is received, an invoice will be sent for payment.  Fee is $50.00. Requests will not be processed until payment is received.
* If you need the verification to go to multiple states, a $50 fee is required for EACH state.
